Liberation of Dhale’ .. Southern forces sweep the Houthis beyond Al-Fakher

On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, the Joint Forces of the Southern Resistance, supported by the Popular Resistance, completed a major liberation of advanced areas and locations to the strategic northern city of Al-Fakhir in the far north of Al-Dhale’.
A military source said that units of the 30 armored brigade led by Brigadier General Hadi al-Awlaki, units of the 1st Brigade Saaqa, the security belt and the Popular Resistance in Qataba, managed to liberate the Zubayriat camp and sites overlooking the Shakhb and Sulaim area, and the strategic city west of Qataba district. After the liberation of the Al-Fakher police station in the eastern suburb of the city amid the intensification of battles in the streets of the city.
In addition to Shakhb, Salim and Al-Fakher, the areas that have been liberated today are northeast of Qataba: the village of Markhzah, Lakma Othman, Al-Qafla, Al-Zubayriat Al-Thalatha, Al-Ghadeer, Hubail Al-Kalb and overlooking Al-Fakher.
