A weapons store for the Houthi militia exploded on Wednesday morning in Hays district, south of Hodeidah.

A military source in the joint forces said that a Houthi weapon and ammunition store in a house in Beit Bish village north of Hays exploded, pointing out that the militia turned the house into an armory.

The source pointed out that the Houthi militias deliberately store their weapons and shells in populated areas without concern for the dangers that threaten the lives of citizens and their property as a result of the explosions of these stores, as happened today in one of the villages of Hays.

Houthi militias have deliberately used houses in the city of Hodeidah and in densely populated neighborhoods to store weapons, some of which have already exploded, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

The source considered the accumulation of weapons by the Houthi militia inside the houses of citizens and the continued escalation of its military activities and the mobilization of its elements, clear signs of its refusal to implement the terms of the Stockholm agreement.
