Organizers of the celebrations of the Yemeni Revolution 26 September 1962 and October 14, 1963 were surprised to stop the festival by the Yemeni Embassy in Cairo

This came on the pretext of not refer to it and put it in the picture, although the organizer is independent, the Foundation of the Future Yemen, which deals with the conditions of students and the Yemeni community residing in Egypt, headed by Mr. Jamal al-Humairi.

This comes for the second time in less than a month, where everyone was surprised that there are explicit instructions by the Yemeni Ambassador Mohammed Marem not to hold any event or festival outside the arrangements of the Yemeni embassy,   which has never happened before, according to the President of the Foundation.

This is happening for the second time in less than a month, as the embassy had previously stopped a concert on a boat celebrating September 26 revolution for the same reason.

In a statement to the President of the Foundation, he said that after security coordination with the Egyptian Interior, and clarifications of the nature of the festival and its paragraphs, he was surprised for the second time to stop the ceremony, which caused him embarrassment with the guests and problems with the owners of the hall planned to hold the ceremony.

He also stressed that it is not worth all this intransigence and nepotism, as it is an artistic concert related to the two most important events in the history of Yemenis, namely the September and October glorious revolutions, which formed a time difference that is difficult to achieve today after the setback that took place for the homeland.

In another clarification, the Foundation's officials said that the ambassador wants any ceremony to be under his guardianship and the sponsorship of the embassy,   without providing any support or little effort, stressing that the establishment of such events come with personal efforts of the Yemeni community, the aim of meeting and rapprochement between Yemenis.
