The Assistant Secretary General of the Popular Congress Party and former Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, said that "those responsible for the release of those arrested for the crime of the presidential mosque before their trial put themselves subject to legal accountability and the risk of covering up the crime.

Dr. Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, in a post on his Twitter account that the exploitation of the prisoner exchange doubles the crime.

He stressed that the charge "will remain attached to those who have been released and persecuted from the judiciary because the release without judgment does not drop the offense."

The Houthi militias, released five of the defendants in the crime of bombing the presidential house in Sanaa, which targeted senior leaders of the state in June 2011 and killed 14 people, including the President of the Shura Council Abdulaziz Abdul Ghani.

On Sunday, the General Committee of the General People's Congress in Sanaa approved the boycott of the works and outputs of the Political Council, the government, and the Shura Councils, which are under the control of the Houthi militia, in protest against the release of the suspects in the bombing of the Mosque of the Presidential House

The General Committee condemned the sudden release of the accused from Islah members, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, for the bombing of the Mosque of the Presidential House

The General Committee considered that the welcome of the Islah Party to release the accused provides new evidence of the involvement of Islah and its leaders in that terrorist crime, which was condemned by the world and the UN Security Council
