One soldier and another member of the joint forces were martyred on Monday, October 21, 2019, by snipers of Houthi militias in Kilo 16 area east of Hodeida city in western Yemen.
According to a military source said that the Houthi militia targeted the ceasefire control point, east of Hodeidah, moments before the arrival of the UN team, killing one soldier and wounding another.
It explained that the Houthi militia, used sniper weapon and rate "Pika" in the targeting of the soldiers, while the UN team to install the third point to monitor the ceasefire in Hodeidah.
According to the source, the attack resulted in the killing of a soldier from the brigade of the first brigade Amaleka, and the injury of another brigade of the third brigade Amaleka in the joint forces on the west coast.
