Kiar turns into a devastating hurricane

In its latest report, Kayar was categorized as a hurricane with strong winds of 225 kilometers per hour and a maximum wind speed of 250 kilometers, which meant it had become a devastating fourth category, the National Meteorological Center said in a statement.
The center of the typhoon is located east of the center of the Arabian Sea, about 1,450 kilometers from the nearest point of the skilled coast of the Hof region and 1430 off the coast of Socotra archipelago as it continues to move northwest at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour.
In the coming hours, the center predicted that the hurricane would turn into a super typhoon, the fifth storm, the highest typhoon in the Indian Ocean region.
