As soon as the Jeddah negotiations were launched between the government of interim President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the Southern Transitional Council, Interior Minister Ahmed al-Maisari and Transport Minister Saleh al-Jubani left Saudi Arabia to Oman.
As the two sides reached a preliminary agreement under the auspices of Saudi Arabia, the two ministers, al-Maysari and al-Jubani, returned to Sayun in the southeastern province of Hadramout.
Later, al-Maisari moved from Hadramout to Shabwa, and appeared on the screen of Al-Jazeera, attacking the Arab coalition and legitimacy, rejecting the agreement and threatening everyone.
The two ministers, Ahmed al-Maisari and Saleh al-Jubani, said they had an army that would torpedo the deal, threatening to blow up a battle.
