One year after her death, the College of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Aden urged the doctoral degree of the student Azhar Abdullah Abdo Mohammed, to be a science benefit.

Dr. Azhar Abdullah Abdo Mohammed, who was working as a central supervisor at the Ministry of Education in Aden, died in a traffic accident that killed her. She was on a duty to inspect displaced students and refugees in Kharaz district in Lahj governorate.

Her sister, Wafaa, says that Dr. Azhar Abdullah Abdo Mohammed obtained a bachelor's and master's degree from the Faculty of Education, University of Aden, and prepared a doctoral thesis at the Nasser College of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Aden, which was entitled "Use of some agricultural treatments to reduce viral infection of the tomato crop."

She added that before the death of her sister, Dr. Ali Khamis Rowaished, the supervisor of her thesis, discussed her doctoral thesis, and that she was doing a number of scientific research in a farm in Lahj governorate, under the supervision of a number of professors at the University of Aden.

A decision has been issued to appoint her to teach at the Faculty of Education, Department of Biology, a week before her death, but she refused to leave her work as a mentor in the Ministry of Education to monitor the conditions of displaced students and refugees.

She said that Azhar devoted herself to science and education, and has done all her diligence and perseverance, and has obtained a doctorate degree from Nasser College of Agricultural Sciences a year after her death.
