Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) said it had temporarily moved its medical staff from Mocha’s surgical hospital to Aden.

It added, on its Twitter page, that this comes as a precaution due to the possibility of the presence of unexploded shells in the vicinity of the hospital site, which must be removed before re-launch of medical activities again.

The pharmacy was completely burned, the administrative office building was destroyed, one building was burned and the windows of the hospital were shattered as a result of the Houthi drone crash.

MSF opened Mocha Surgical Hospital in August 2018 to provide emergency surgical care to injured patients, as well as to provide other emergency surgical services such as caesarean sections in complex deliveries.
