Houthi militia defies the will to peace by escalating the war on the west coast

Houthi militias shelled joint forces positions in Al-Jabaliya area of Al-Tahita district and renewed targeting in Hays, south of Hodeidah governorate.
The head of the UN Coordinating Committee said on Saturday that the level of violence in Hodeidah has declined since the launch of the five observation posts, but pointed to escalation of Houthis and the use of drones to target Mocha city.
According to a field military source, militias used 120-mm heavy mortar artillery, and resumed artillery shelling in the evening with 82-mm mortar shells and Hauser artillery shells.
The sources added that the militias targeted the positions of the joint forces using Dushka, Pika, 14.5 and sniper weapons.
