Al-Safwa Hospital in Taiz condemns the bullying of the Brotherhood militants and demands compensation

Al-Safwa Hospital in Taiz, one of the most important hospitals in the city, condemned the storming and closing by Taiz axis gunmen

The hospital, in a press release, said that an armed group of the army, equipped with various weapons, besieged the hospital since 1 am on Monday, after they closed it and prevented access to it, which led to the suspension of work and caused serious damage represented great losses on the hospital and deprivation citizens of the services.

The hospital promised "such an act is not befitting the army and offends the city, culture and civilization of Taiz province, and such an act is a serious crime punishable by law.

The hospital asked the authority to stop what it described as the criminal act committed by armed groups in violation of all laws and rights and to take legal action against them and to refer them to the prosecution and bring them to justice.

The hospital also demanded compensation for the material and moral damage caused by the criminal act, which continues to be repeated from time to time despite the previous reports, but to no avail.

The first deputy governor of Taiz and Islah leader Abdul Qawi al-Mikhlafi said in one of his meetings that hospitals must receive the wounded.

He called on hospitals to exempt the wounded 50% of the costs and 50% debt to the local authority, which has not paid its sums since the beginning of the war in 2014, according to a medical source.

According to the sources, the medical committee is contracted with Al-Rawda Hospital of the Islah Party, Al-Abbas Hospital and the Military Hospital. The Medical Committee of Al-Islah pays to  Hospitals affiliated with Islah party huge amounts for the treatment of the wounded.
Brotherhood hospitals also receive cash payments from the medical committee, while other hospitals are required to register with the local authority that refuse to pay them.
