A failed attack by the militias in al-Barah

Al-Barah city, west of Taiz, witnessed fierce battles between the joint forces and the Houthi militias, fought in the strategic Al-Hamra hill, which was liberated in May 2018 by the Giants Brigades and the supporting forces.

The militias attempted a violent and wide-ranging attack by multiple groups to regain this hill, but the eighth brigade and giants and through clashes that took place from 11 at night until 2 am with various weapons broke the militia attack and seize various weapons.
The joint forces spokesman Colonel Waddah al-Debaish said that the militias suffered heavy casualties represented by dead and wounded before fleeing and leaving the bodies of its members, BTR vehicle, 130 self-propelled gun, mortar and 23 guns.
