The Houthi militia returned to creating a sudden crisis of oil derivatives in the capital Sana'a and the governorates under its control, hours after their  loud celebration of the "birthday of the Prophet", which falls on 12 Rabi I of each year.

Dozens of stations closed on Sunday evening in the capital Sanaa, which led to the congestion of hundreds of cars and public vehicles in front of gas stations in long lines until early Monday morning.

Sources in the Ministry of Oil and Minerals in Sanaa, disagreements for a number of leaders of the Houthi militia on the background of the attempt to launch large quantities of oil derivatives on the black market, by fabricating a new crisis in the derivatives market.

In the continued entry of oil vessels to the port of Hodeidah, sources pointed to the efforts of Houthi leaders working in the Iranian oil trade specifically to distribute large quantities of the stock of oil company controlled by the militia in the black market, and to achieve fictional profits, where the price of 20 liters of  Gasoline is up to 20 thousand riyals.

According to sources in the Ministry of Oil and Minerals in Sanaa, Houthi leaders considered that the timing of fabricating the crisis is not appropriate and that "there must be enough time for the occasion of the Prophet's birthday." Thats why they directed closed stations to open their doors and operate all filling pumps,  Thus, postponing the fabrication of the crisis to another time has not yet agreed to set its date ..!

In a remarkable development of the intensification of the conflict, the employees of the oil company, received instructions to unload large quantities of oil derivatives from the company's warehouses in the Sabha area and transferred to unknown destinations.

The owner of a petroleum derivatives station in Sanaa said that oil derivatives traders had received promises from Houthi leaders to revive the black market for oil derivatives in exchange for their contributions to the rally and the transfer of participants in the "birth of the Prophet."

From time to time, the capital Sana'a and the rest of the areas under Houthi militia control are experiencing a recurring oil derivative crisis due to what the militias claim is the result of the Coalition preventing the entry of oil derivatives ships into Hodeidah port.

Since the Houthi militia took over state institutions in September 2014, they have monopolized the import, distribution and sale of oil derivatives, and now they are owning their own oil companies, and using state property and the oil company for their own investments.

The Houthi militia receives oil subsidies from Tehran, which they sell to citizens at three times more then price of the world market.

In addition to imposing doses to increase prices the prices of these materials amounted to three times more than the price in 2014, the year in which the Houthi militia carried out its coup and armed control of the capital Sanaa and state institutions under the pretext of dropping the dose ..!
