Saudi Arabia: Riyadh agreement is a pivotal step to end crisis in Yemen

The Saudi cabinet renewed the Kingdom's welcome to the signing of the Riyadh agreement between the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council.

During a meeting held yesterday (Tuesday) under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz at Al-Yamamah Palace, the council affirmed the continuation of all efforts to support the Republic of Yemen in order to achieve its security and stability.  According to Saudi News Agency "SPA".

Saudi Information Minister Turki bin Abdullah al-Shabana said in a statement after the meeting that the cabinet expressed appreciation for the international and Arab echoes of the signing of the Riyadh agreement, including praise and congratulations on the signing of the Riyadh agreement and the efforts exerted to reach it among the Yemeni parties, as a pivotal step in ending the Yemeni crisis and consolidating its unity and prosperity.
