On Friday, southern forces in northern al-Dhale’ foiled a new advance by Iranian armies west of Qataba district.

The southern joint forces targeted Houthi gatherings east of Battar area with air strikes after Friday prayers and recorded injuries, according to field sources.

Early Friday night, fierce clashes with various weapons spread to large areas: Al-Fakher, Hubail Al-Kalb, Beit Al-Sharji intersection, and the entrance of Silat Shalil Hajjar, after confronting Houthi militia encroachment on the positions of the southern forces in Battar Front, southwest of Qatoba Directorate.

On Friday afternoon, the Houthi militia targeted the house of the martyr Ahmed Saleh al-Fattahi with four B10 shells, causing severe damage in the house located north of Battar area - southwest of Sabira al-Jub.

In addition, field sources confirmed to Newsyemen the movements and deployments of militias to houses located in frontline areas near Sabira.

The sources suggested that the militias could plant explosive devices and booby-trapped houses for fear of any progress of the joint forces and the resistance towards Sabira, which is surrounded by the forces and confined the militias within the area of the small geographical enclave in Sabira - al-Jubb.
