Taiz parties reject the military mobilization of Al-Mikhlafi in Yafres

Parties and political organizations in Taiz have condemned the militia of the Popular Mobilization that has been mobilized, at the request of Sheikh Hammoud al-Mikhlafi, which is funded by external parties, in the Yafris District, Jabal Habashi District, south of Taiz Governorate.

The political parties and organizations said: It renews its steadfast stance rejecting any mobilization, militarization, or establishment of armed components or assemblies outside the military establishment, and stresses its support for the local authority.

It indicated, in a statement, that they watched the mobilization under the pretext of receiving the people of Taiz returning from the southern border, and rejects "any attempt that makes Taiz a battlefield to liquidate external conflicts and agendas that are not related to the national project and do not serve it as much as they work to break it up."

It emphasized that dealing with local entities or regional and non-regional countries outside the framework of the state’s institutions and their legitimate leadership is a crime and national treachery, stressing its complete rejection to try to disturb relations with the Arab coalition or to offend any of its parties.

It demanded the governor of the province, and the leadership of the axis to stand firmly and take measures to deter any attempts to create armed formations outside the scope of the military establishment.

It called on the army leadership to investigate the issue of returnees from the southern border fronts, and not to repeat any practices or messages that may lead to misunderstanding disturbing the relationship with the brothers from the Arab coalition countries.

In addition, it called on the leadership of the legitimacy and the Arab alliance "to support the national army in a serious manner to complete the liberation of the remainder of the province and the speedy disbursement of its salaries and other dues suspended for months."

Sources confirmed that the returnees from the southern border did not represent even 5% of the crowd, while the rest are from the army, children, teachers and students belonging to the Islah Party and some motorists.
