Presidential sources revealed that the Vice President provided a leader from the Islah party to succeed Brigadier Adnan Al Hammadi, commander of the 35 armored brigade a week after the assassination of Al Hammadi in the Al-Mawasat district of southern Taiz countryside.

Sources said that MP Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar proposed to the President of the Republic to appoint Colonel Adel Al-Hammadi as the commander of the 35th Armored Brigade, Taiz, to succeed the martyr Adnan Al-Hammadi.

Colonel Adel Al Hammadi is currently occupying the supply corner of the 35 armored brigade. Islah uses him as a bargaining chip for the officers and commanders loyal to the late leader

Sources indicated that Colonel Adel Al Hammadi arrived in the city of Taiz on Wednesday, at the invitation of Major Axis Major General Khaled Fadel, and his adviser to the military governor of the province, Abdo Farhan Al-Mikhlafi, "Salem."

According to the indications, Islah, which dominates the military and security authority in Taiz, tends to choose Colonel Adel Al Hammadi as the commander of the 35th Armored Brigade, instead of the other candidate, Brigadier General Abdul Malik Al-Ahdal, the brigade's general staff, or to appoint Major General Khaled Fadel as the brigade commander alongside his command of the axis.
