7 kg of hashish seized in Al-Mukalla

Security forces arrested, in the city of Mukalla, in the southeastern governorate of Hadramaut, on Wednesday, two people in possession of an amount of cannabis.
According to security sources, the first amount of seizures was estimated at 2 kg of hashish, while investigations led to people confessing to possession of another 5 kg.
For his part, Director of Narcotics Control Lt. Col. Abdullah Hamdi said: "The Special Task Force of the Drug Enforcement Administration managed to arrest two people in a neighborhood of the city of Mukalla with possession of 2 kg of hashish."
Hamdi added: "The seizure operation came after a wide investigation and monitoring process, which confirms the high vigilance of security forces and drug control personnel and their high ability to maintain security and stability in all districts."
