Three-days ago, gunmen led by a Brotherhood leader attacked al-Kuraimi exchange companyin the city of Maarib, east of Sanaa, under the direction of the commander of the security forces in the governorate

In a complaint filed on Thursday with the director of the Governorate’s security, al-Kuraimi Bank said that Muhammad Abdo al-Salfi , known as (Abu al-Qassam al-Salafi) and armed men in an official security uniform, and others in civilian clothes, raided the exchange company’s branch on Street 26 in Marib city.

He stressed that the attack was directed by the commander of the Special Security Forces, Abdulghani Shaalan, nicknamed "Abu Muhammad", indicating that the attack was accompanied by the closure of the branch and insulting and threatening employees.

A local source revealed that the government's decision to transfer the salaries of soldiers through the Al-Kuraimi company prevented the commander of the Special Security Forces from deducting part of the salaries of the soldiers, as well as his inability to receive salaries of fake names for his personal account.

According to the source, this is the reason that prompted "Abu Muhammad" to send "Abu al-Qassam al-Salafi" to close the bank.

It pointed out that the Director of Marib Security instructed to send military crews to be stationed near Al-Kuraimi Company instead of investigating the attack.
