The Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, prevented three members of the UN mission from entering the capital, Sanaa, and left to Jordan under compulsion.

A spokesman for the Combined Forces in the West Coast, Waddah Al-Dubeish, said that three members of the Hodeidah mission were forced to leave Sana'a after their arrival, on Thursday, and left for Jordan.

He pointed out that members were subjected to detention and insults in Sanaa, after a short vacation they spent in their countries.

He said: They were subjected to humiliation, looting of belongings and private property, and were prevented from leaving the airport, before being forced to return to Amman.

UN envoy Martin Griffiths, head of the Hodeidah mission committee, Abhijit Goha, declined to make any statement or statement regarding the latest incident, which added to previous insults against the mission and UN observers.
