On Sunday, the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council affirmed, rejecting all efforts by the Islah Party, the local branch of the Brotherhood, to block the Riyadh agreement.

This came during a meeting held by the commission, headed by Aidros Al-Zubaidi, head of the Southern Transitional Council, in the city of Aden, according to the official website of the council.

The Presidency Council of the Transitional Council confirmed the readiness of the southern resistance and in coordination with the Arab coalition to thwart the plans of the Houthi militias on the fronts of North Dhale’ and break their crowds, calling the southern forces in Dhale’ and Lahj for more vigilance.

The meeting discussed a number of reports, including the report of the Committee for Monitoring the Political Violations of the Riyadh Agreement by the Sharia Government, and the efforts of the recent team in the Field Military Committee to distort the committee's work contrary to the agreement.

The meeting stood before the joint escalation process of the Houthi and Brotherhood groups in the direction of the southern governorates in the governorates of Al-Dhali, Shabwa and Abyan, indicating that this confirms the unification of the goal for these two groups.

The Presidency of the Transitional Authority stressed that the security forces in Aden and the rest of the governorates need to raise the security readiness to confront the plans of the terrorist forces and strike with an iron hand against anyone who seeks to disturb security and stability.
