On Monday, the Houthi militia officially recognized Iranian military support in the military field.

This came in a meeting between Ibrahim Al-Dailami, appointed by the Houthis as ambassador to Tehran, with the Iranian Minister of Defense, Brigadier Amir Hatami.

According to the agency, "Saba" in its version subject to the Houthis, the two parties discussed "ways to enhance joint cooperation in the military fields."

The agency said that the Iranian Minister of Defense referred to "the necessity of strengthening the relationship between the Iranian and Yemeni armies (Houthi militants)".

Al-Dailami praised during the meeting, "the relations of cooperation at various levels and the Iranian position towards the aggression against Yemen," in reference to the military operations of the Arab coalition against the Houthis.

The US Special Envoy for Iran, Brian Hook, announced that his country had confiscated an Iranian ship loaded with anti-ship missile shipments heading to Yemen.

"The shipment of missiles confiscated from the Iranian ship in the Arabian Sea is the most advanced," Hook said during a press conference at the US State Department in Washington two weeks ago.

He added, "Washington is offering $ 15 million to anyone who provides information about the leader of the Revolutionary Guards, Abdulredha Shahhali, who was involved in terrorist acts and in transporting weapons to Iranian militias, and in the case of the attempt to assassinate the Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir."

And the US envoy warned "of the danger of Shahali’s presence on Yemeni soil."

It is noteworthy that several Iranian officials have previously boasted of their support for the Houthi militia.

The deputy commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Ali Fadawi, acknowledged in previous statements that Iran supports the Houthis in Yemen with all its capabilities.
