A marine mine explosion planted by the Houthi militia killed a giant whale in the Red Sea off the coast of Hodeidah, in the west of the country.
Fishermen said that the explosion of a marine mine planted by the Houthis in Yemeni waters, close to international waters, had led to the death of the giant whale.
The dead whale is approximately 10 meters long
A video circulated on social media showed Yemeni fishermen and a huge white whale dead on Yemeni beaches.
The sea mines laid by the Houthi militia killed dozens of fishermen on the western coast, in addition to the deaths of see creatures.
