The Houthi militia kidnapped 20 leaders and members of the General People's Congress party, in the northwestern Hajjah governorate.

In the middle of last week, the Houthi militia launched a campaign of raids on the homes of leaders of the Popular Congress Party, Hajjah Governorate, and kidnapped prominent leaders.

A local source said that the number of the kidnapped people from the Popular Congress Party, in the recent Houthi raids and kidnappings campaign, rose to 20 people, including members of the party's main standing committee and local leaders, and last Tuesday, dozens of armed Houthi gunmen stormed the homes of Colonel Yahya Dahshoush, former director of civil affairs, and Nabeel Soufan, deputy director general of the Education Office in Hajjah governorate.

A local source indicated that the Houthi militia claimed that the kidnapped leaders had been linked to terrorist cells to justify the crime of kidnapping and raiding their homes.
The source stated that the Houthi militia took the kidnapped persons to unknown destinations.
