Houthi militias have directed committees from Sanaa to the Tihama directorates, in the north and northeast of Hodeidah, to recruit, mobilize and collect levies and financial duties, while supervisors from Saada and Sanaa accumulate ownership of real estate, farms, and the construction of villas, housing, and private headquarters.

Houthi committees sent from Sanaa have started new mobilization activities in the districts of Al-Lahya and Zahra, Tihama, north of Al-Hodeidah Governorate, in parallel with similar active measures in the militia-controlled districts in southern Hodeidah, Zabid, Bayt al-Faqih, Al-Jarahi, and Jabal Ras.

The Houthi committees met with the dignitaries and the leaders of the two directorates in gatherings and meetings held for this purpose, and all elders and notables were invited to it, and they committed everyone to certain shares of recruits to the fronts, in view of the Houthi supervisors who are focused on isolation and towns.

The committees from Sanaa accused the sheikhs of smuggling their children from recruitment duties and campaigns to distant locations, in addition to accusations of complacency in implementing the instructions and directive related to financial support and war effort.

And the committees imposed the collection of levies, on the owners of farms, and on the owners of shops, which get immediately, as a war effort.

The committees decided to collect the amount of 20 thousand riyals for each farm, and the amount of five thousand riyals for each store in the districts, in the name of the effort only.

The new Houthi moves towards Tuhama and the localities of Hodeidah, the North, coincided with extensive purchases and acquisitions of real estate and farms by supervisors and field Houthi leaders in the two directorates, as was the case in other directorates, Zaidi, Al-Marwah and Bajil.

The Zahra and Al-Lahya directorates are considered to be one of the border districts between Al Hodeidah and Hajjah, and the road to Haradh passes through in addition to the main crossings that the militias use as military lines of supplies, while the Houthi movements in the coast of Al-Lahya were intensified.

On the other side, the militias that exist and military and qualitative settlement in the Jebel Al-Salt, the strategic and surrounding area, east and northeast of Al-Lahya are relatively high areas (hills) and meet seawater and navigation lines directly.

Newsyemen had mentioned, in previous reports, that militias use the area for military purposes, install radars and military communications devices, and maintain large stores of various weapons, equipment, and boats.
