The elders and notables of the Al Habtoor tribe in the Shabwa governorate, southeast of Yemen, described the position of the governor loyal to the Muslim Brotherhood, Muhammad Salih bin Adiyo, towards the liquidation of their son, Yaslam Salih bin Habtoor, after his abduction, as weak and unfair.

The family of the martyr Yaslam and the dignitaries and notables of the Al Habtoor tribe, in a statement issued by them, made a public invitation to all members of the tribe and all the tribes of Shabwa Governorate to attend a general meeting today, Monday, to review the position of the local authority represented by the governor.

It also called for "the movement of the masses in one convoy to the city of Ataq to address the governor and know his position regarding what is happening with regard to torture and killing of free people and the people of Shabwa province ... and all the assassinations of the best youth of the province."

The crime of liquidation, Yuslam Salih bin Habtoor, who died in the middle of last week under torture in a prison for the Muslim Brotherhood militia in the Gul Al-Raida point, sparked widespread anger among the people of Shabwa governorate and the rest of the southern governorates.
