A senior military leader loyal to the Houthi militia and his companions was killed on Monday in al-Dhale’ front, and clashes and artillery exchanges erupted, while the coalition leadership in Aden visited al-Dhale axis.

On Monday evening, southern forces killed a qualitative operation in the Merkhazah area, al-Fakher, a Houthi military commander, Colonel Khaled al-Houmi, and three of his companions, according to a field source for Newsyemen.

The deputy commander of the Arab coalition in Aden, Brigadier Hamad Abu Fahd, accompanied by First Lieutenant Abu Nawwaf, at noon Monday, visited the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command, and toured a number of fronts of the Al-Dhale’ military axis and the front lines.

Meanwhile, violent clashes took place on the western and northern fronts of Qataba, in al-Jab, Battar, and even western al-Hisha, using all types of weapons.

A military source said that the clashes followed Houthi artillery shelling, on Monday evening, on some villages adjacent to the two fronts, and the southern forces' artillery fired back fire sources.
