On Tuesday, forces affiliated with the Islah Party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, raided the home of an official of the Shabwa Governorate, working in the oil office in Ataq, and arrested his brother.

Local sources said that the security forces in Ataq stormed the home of Al-Khader Ali Salem Buglida, director of the office of the General Director of the Oil Office in Shabwa governorate, and kidnapped his brother, Saleh Buglida, known as "Al-Aqili".

The sources added that the soldiers tampered with the contents of the house and deliberately intimidated the residents of women and children and caused terror in their hearts.

This incident met with widespread condemnation by the people of the province, describing them as childish behaviors that are not accepted by law. They also accused the pro-Brotherhood governor Muhammad bin Adiyo and the commander of the Special Security Forces, Abd Rabbuh of Lakkab, of disturbing public tranquility and destroying the civil peace in the governorate.
