A young woman in her 20s was kidnapped by a leader of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm of Yemen, days before her wedding, after she was lured by the kidnapper's sister from the center of the northwestern city of Hajjah province.

A special source told "Newsmen", that a girl named "Moons of the Belt of Faqih" was kidnapped about a month ago by ahmed Hadi Qa'aish, while she went to buy clothes for her wedding party, after she was lured through the sister of the kidnapper ."M. Hadi Qa'ia'a.""

The source added that the kidnapper transferred the girl to the Mahbsha directorate after he stripped her of her mobile phone and prevented her from contacting her family and hiding her in an unknown place.

According to the sources, the Houthi leader kidnapped the girl in order to pressure the sheikhs of the Key Directorate to carry out campaigns to recruit fighters into the ranks of the Houthi militia.

Documents obtained by "Newsmen", showed the complicity of the judiciary in the argument, the Criminal Investigation Department and the police department with the kidnappers.

According to a New Zealand source, a tribal sheikh in the girl's area went to the kidnapping site in The Bani Haydan area of Mahbsha district, and the kidnapper's marriage to the girl was held without the consent or presence of her father or any of her relatives.

A source close to the kidnapped girl's family, human rights and international organizations, appealed to the Houthi militia leadership to release her and called on the media to turn the crime into a public opinion issue.
