Houthi kept silent about deaths and injuries of dengue fever in a camp in Hodeidah

The Houthi militias, are silent about the deaths and infected of dengue fever among their fighters and recruits, in large numbers, especially in a new training camp in the city of Hodeidah.

Stringent measures and prevention of treatment by militia supervisors and security officials exacerbated casualties, doubled the numbers, and deaths from complications from the disease.

Dengue injuries and infection sweep through the districts of Al-Hodeidah, and the number of injuries increased among civilians and the population, especially children and the elderly, in light of the deteriorating and worn out health services and facilities and the militia's resort to secrecy and covering up the spread of the epidemic and the number of victims.

And recorded among the militia militants, in one new location, at least four deaths and dozens of injuries.

Medical and private sources close to the Houthi community in Hodeidah revealed information about the outbreak of the dengue fever in large numbers, and one of the sources described it as "frightening" among the Houthi fighters and militants, especially the individuals who were in a training site near a dump, and were prevented from obtaining on first aid and treatments.
