Shelling and targeting of the joint forces locations continues in the south of Hodeidah

Houthi militias, the Iranian arm in Yemen, continued, on Saturday, a series of daily violations of the international truce in the context of the ongoing escalation in the various regions and districts of Hodeidah.

On Saturday, the Houthi militia launched heavy 120-mm mortar and 82-caliber artillery shells from their positions on the joint forces' sites north of Al-Tahita district, south of Al-Hodeidah Governorate, on the west coast.

Militia members opened heavy and medium weapons fire towards separate locations of the joint forces in the same area, and used heavy weapons type 23 caliber, medium machine guns 14.5 and Dushka 12.7 caliber during daylight hours until evening.


Local sources in Hays said that militias shelled residential neighborhoods with heavy 120-mm mortar shells, and with a 23-caliber M-type weapon, violently.

The militias fired on the same areas with medium weapons 14.5 caliber, 12.7 mm Doshka, and with sniper weapons.

In Al-Jabalia district of Al-Tahita district, Houthi militias have continued to bomb and target joint forces positions, with artillery, heavy and medium weapons, and snipers.

The sources pointed out that the militias fired heavy 120-mm mortar shells, 82-caliber shells, and howitzer artillery at the sites violently.

According to the sources, militia elements targeted other locations of the joint forces with pica rates, Doshka 12.7, and 14.5, and with sniper weapons intensively and continuously.
