"Protection" brigade deployed its forces in Shuqra

A security source confirmed, on Sunday, that the Islah militia, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, had strengthened its members in the Abyan Governorate, with groups of al-Qaeda militants, including a prominent leader.
The source said, that intelligence information monitored the arrival of members of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, as part of reinforcements of the Brotherhood forces to the coastal city of Shuqra in Abyan.
It affirmed that among the prominent leaders of the al-Qaeda organization, Abu Muneera al-Ma’ribi, who was assigned to command one of the battalions coming from Ma'rib.
According to the source, the 3rd Brigade Presidential Protection (loyal to the Brotherhood) is mobilizing to move towards the areas of security belt forces, and to detonate the situation militarily in Abyan.
It pointed out that members of Al-Qaeda organization were found to be involved in combat operations, assassinations and the manufacture of explosives, who are located within the militia of the Muslim Brotherhood in Shakra, pointing out that one of those involved in carrying out the assassination of the leader of the rapid intervention in Zanzibar is among these elements in the forces affiliated with legality.
It stressed that the security belt forces and rapid intervention are ready to defend their positions, expel terrorism, uproot their roots and liberate all southern lands.
