In a statement, the 35th Armored Brigade stressed that the brigade is able to protect its positions and areas of deployment against any clumsy actions by any party, and that it does not hesitate to defend the people of Taiz and the citizens in general in the areas of its control.
The 35th Armored Brigade confirmed that no party, force or group, no matter what, would be allowed to go too far or disturb the public serenity in Al-Hujriya areas or attempt to infringe on its theater of operations.
He stressed the necessity of everyone's commitment to rationality and rationalization of their behaviors in relation to all events, and held everyone who seeks to prejudice the brigade or its sites or areas or citizens in the theater of its operations, with any harm or aggression, the repercussions of such behaviors, and called on everyone to adhere to wisdom and calm, cooperation in solving problems and achieving Security and stability for the benefit of the country and the citizen.
The statement of the 35th armored brigade came in response to the statement of the 5th brigade, a presidential guard, who talked about an attempt to assassinate the brigades of Colonel Ammar al-Jandabi’s war in Al-Turbah and his attempt to find a justification for a military presence in Al-Hujriya areas.
The statement emphasized that the leadership of the 35th Armored Brigade - Legitimate, and affirming its rejection of everything that violates the public tranquility, and affects the interests of citizens, their freedoms, their rights and the conditions of their movement, at the same time it confirms that it has opened the way for travelers and transients as soon as possible, and has taken all necessary control measures regarding these The incident, and in a manner that guarantees the security, stability and safety of the region, its sons, their rights, and their freedoms, which is part of the responsibility and tasks of the 35 armored brigade, towards the people of Taiz in general, and the children of the areas where it is spread.
The statement renewed the positions of the previous 35th Armored Brigade Command, and called on all concerned, security, military, and judicial authorities to carry out its tasks, protect the rights of citizens, and achieve justice, as it had been a long time since the assassination of the young martyr of knowledge, Abdel Khaleq Al-Hajj, brother of Maj. Gen. Raed Al-Haj on top of a public transport bus next to the Najda camp and close to a security point in Taiz city.
According to the statement, coincided with this issue, the passage of one of the central leaders in one of the military brigades from the protesters was stopped, and the brigade's leadership handled the situation and ended cutting the road, so that all civilians and military personnel could pass through.
