Muqbana Council: The removal of the military police chief in Taiz is an illegal decision

The leaders and members of the National Council of Muqbana District considered the way to remove the chief of the Military Police in Taiz, Brigadier Jamal al-Shamiri, a provocation and unjustified.
The council said, in a statement, that the role of handing over the police chief to an alternative has not been performed, as well as without publishing a republican decision to appoint the new commander, who is illegal and calls for strife and fighting against fellow gunmen and partners of the national project.
The National Council of Muqbana District described this behavior arrogant by the leadership of the Taiz axis and some of the influential people in the governorate, and a racist, regional and arbitrary method for building state institutions, absent the role of law and laying its foundations in the military institution, which is the safety valve of the people.
The council said, that while it was looking to be fair for Muqbana directorate, and to take its right to the sovereign sites due to the size of the sacrifices made by the directorate and still being provided and guarding the western Taiz gate, they were surprised by the dismissal of Brigadier Jamal Al-Shamiri, which was a disappointment for the people of the directorate despite its population density, strategic location and abundance in its administrative and leadership human cadre.
The statement indicated that the Muqbana Directorate and the directorates of the West Coast are an integral part of Taiz Governorate and rejects the deliberate exclusion and marginalization by the military and security leaders and the local and central authority and calls on President Hadi to do justice to the people of Muqbana and the coast, and that the exclusion of appointments that do not serve the country is not permitted.
The National Council called for the Directorate to restore consideration to the people of Muqbana and the West Coast in proportion to the size of the region, its historical depth and heroic sacrifices, and that the situation of the heroic fighter, the founder of the military police and one of the emancipation figures, Brigadier General Jamal Ghaleb Al-Shamiri, be rehabilitated.
