On Thursday, terrestrial internet service was almost completely discontinued in most Yemeni regions, including Sanaa, which is controlled by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.
Local residents in Sanaa said that the terrestrial internet service has been almost completely cut off from subscribers in Sanaa since Thursday morning
While users in several regions of the country complained about the poor connection of the internet service, to the point that instant messaging applications did not work, accusing the Houthi militia.
And the Houthi militia, which controls the public telecommunications corporation, as well as the government company "Yemen Net", attributed the reasons for the interruption of the internet to the interruption of the marine cable Falcon in "Suez"
The news agency "Saba", in the name of the Houthis, according to an official source, said that more than 80% of the international internet capacities came out due to the interruption of the cable outside Yemen.
