A delegation of European Union ambassadors discussed with Prime Minister Moeen Abdulmalik, in the temporary capital of Aden, the efforts made to implement the Riyadh Agreement, as well as the danger of Iran's continuing support for the Houthi militia and its use as one of its terrorist arms in the region in the light of recent global developments.

The delegation that arrived in Aden on Sunday included the head of the European Union Mission to Yemen, Hans Grandberg, the French ambassadors Christian Tissot, Sweden Nicholas Trophy, and the deputy head of the European mission, Ricardo Vela.

According to the official Yemeni news agency, the talks dealt with the humanitarian situation and the constant restrictions by the Houthi militia - on international organizations and looting of relief aid, in addition to the continued obstruction of the air bridge to transport patients from the capital Sana'a based on the initiative of the Saudi-led Sharia Support Alliance, and to prevent UN experts from maintaining Safer oil tank, which warns of imminent catastrophe threatening the marine environment south of the Red Sea.

The Prime Minister said that the Riyadh agreement "constitutes an interest for all and accommodates the legitimate interests of all parties."

And he touched on the ongoing Houthi escalation and his rejection of peace efforts and repudiation of all the agreements signed with him, the latest of which is the Stockholm Agreement, which has been more than a year since it was signed without committing to implement any of its provisions.

He said, "The Houthis prove daily that they are just tools for the Iranian regime, which challenges the world by spreading terrorism and undermining regional and global security, which requires a unified international position to end Tehran's tampering and its tools in the region and abandon its expansionist and destructive illusions."

For their part, the head of the European Union mission and the ambassadors of France and Sweden confirmed that their visit to the temporary capital of Aden comes within the framework of the European Union's support for the government's efforts to normalize the situation in Aden and the corrective economic measures taken during the last period, and conveyed a message that the international community is closely monitoring the conditions, and is keen The successful implementation of the Riyadh Agreement as a basic step towards achieving stability and comprehensive peace in Yemen.

They reaffirmed the European Union, France and Sweden to support the efforts of the UN envoy to achieve sustainable peace in Yemen to put an end to human suffering, and the need to implement the Stockholm Agreement as an introduction towards a political solution.

The European ambassadors expressed their concern over the continued crackdowns on international organizations and the public incitement of the Houthi group against humanitarian workers in its areas of control.
