Ibn Daghr announces the release of the prisoners, the start of military withdrawals and an inventory of weapons

Advisor to the President of the Republic - Head of the government side in the committee to follow up on the implementation of the Riyadh agreement, Dr. / Ahmed bin Dagher, announced that the mutual military withdrawals began on Tuesday and will continue in accordance with the Riyadh agreement under the auspices of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the support of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the leaders of the transitional and the cooperation of all military personnel.
In a statement issued on Wednesday evening, Ibn Daghr said that the field military committees had confined some weapons to Aden, in preparation for collecting them under the supervision and under the Kingdom’s authority until the formation of a national unity government capable of managing them, considering this an important step towards achieving stability in Aden.
Ibn Dagher revealed that the President of the Republic will be appointed after the completion of the consultation process and based on his constitutional powers and in a period not exceeding a week from today as governor of Aden and director of its security, to start immediately consultations on forming a government of political competencies, and on the basis of consultation as stated in the political annex in the Riyadh Agreement.
He pointed out that the prisoner exchange process was successfully completed
He stressed that the future of Yemen depends only on our ability to build a country that achieves the desired peace and out of the war crisis and protects Yemen and secures stability and development, and fortifies the Arab region from Iranian ambitions.
