Security belt forces in Abyan, southern Yemen, continue their security campaign in the provincial capital city of Zanzibar to seize motorcycles and unidentified cars and prevent unauthorized weapons.
The commander of the Rapid Intervention Unit in Zanzibar, Nasser Ward, said the security campaign is proceeding at a high pace according to the plan prepared in advance, stressing that it has achieved great successes since its inception.
Ward praised the cooperation shown by citizens with the Belt Forces and their commitment to the directives and controls taken to prevent the movement of motorcycles and the carrying of unlicensed weapons, noting that the campaign will continue until it achieves its full objectives.
The commander of the rapid intervention called on the people of Abyan province to cooperate in maintaining the security and stability of their cities and regions, and to end negative phenomena such as shooting indiscriminately at weddings, reporting violators of the regulations and controls taken, or any movements of suspicious elements of terrorist groups. and outlaws.
He praised the support of the brothers in the Arab Coalition for the Security Belt in Abyan, noting that the support of the coalition contributed to the defeat of al-Qaeda elements and the establishment of security.
