Al-Hadath channel highlighted the looting crisis of homes and lands of citizens and the state in the city of Taiz, by military and civilian leaders affiliated with the Islah Party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The channel said, in a remarkable news report, that Taiz is witnessing daily robberies on the homes and property of citizens and lands belonging to government agencies, including the University of Taiz, by armed groups, some of which belong to military and security units, and others to politicians and partisans

The report pointed to the armed clashes that have occurred in Taiz during the past days, between groups spread throughout the city and its suburbs, and resulted in dozens of victims.

It pointed out that the members of the armed groups, most of them soldiers belonging to the national army units, are used to carry out special operations, such as protecting a plot of land or robbing a house for the benefit of a military or political leader in the city.

The report mentioned that the University of Taiz was subjected to theft and infringement of its lands from several sides, some of them with the complicity of the judiciary and the prosecution services, while the Vice President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs stressed that "the university will not allow its lands to be taken, because it affects the future generations of the nation."

The report mentioned the documentation of the "Rights Guaranteed Charitable Organization" that armed groups looted dozens of houses and lands owned by people in separate areas and neighborhoods in the seam areas and by military leaders that prevent citizens from returning to their homes under the pretext that they are in the areas of confrontation and they seize them by force of arms

The reports included conversations of citizens of the city who accused the military formations of the Islah Party, as being the main cause of chaos and looting of lands in the city.

Al-Hadath TV confirmed that the looting of lands and homes of citizens in the city of Taiz has become a phenomenon backed by corrupt people in the local authority, both civilian and military, who do not refrain from falsifying ownership documents with judicial authorities, some of which are subject to pressure and others backed by the military and security leaders affiliated with the Yemeni Rally for Islah Party.
