The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, continues the process of excluding national cadres from the various state bodies and institutions in the capital, Sanaa, and their areas of control, and replacing elements affiliated with them.

In this context, the Houthi leader and head of the so-called political council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, issued decisions regarding appointments in the judiciary that included the appointment of Judge Muhammad al-Daylami as Minister of Justice to succeed Judge Ahmed Aqabat, who was appointed as the second deputy head of the Supreme Court and a member of the Supreme Judicial Council. Judge Ahmed Al-Shahari was appointed as the head of the Judicial Inspection Authority, and Judge Ahmed Al-Aqidah was Secretary-General of the Supreme Judicial Council.

These appointments are a continuation of the process of the Huthization of the judiciary, which is controlled by the Houthi militia, which took place over the past five years.

According to judicial sources, the new appointments are aimed at extending the influence of the militias completely on the judiciary and its institutions on the one hand, and on the other hand appointing judges loyal to them who are used to pass judicial rulings against the militia opponents and their leaders in any contentious issues.

The sources add, that the appointment of Judge Ahmed Oqabat as Vice-President of the Supreme Court comes as a prelude to the exclusion of the Chief Judge Issam Al-Samawi, despite the fact that Al-Samwawi identified with the demands of the militias and passed them without any opposition.

The judicial process of computerization coincides with the systematic process of computerization and exclusion in a number of state institutions, including the ministries of agriculture and irrigation, industry and trade, and social and labor affairs, all of which are ministries managed by ministers affiliated with the General People's Congress.

According to the sources, the head of the so-called Houthi leadership political council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, issued decisions during the past two months to exclude assistant agents and agents of these ministries and appointed in their place Houthi leaders who do not have any qualifications or experience in the field of work, stressing that the decisions that were not announced were issued even without knowledge of the prime minister or the competent ministers who were surprised to receive the texts of decisions in these appointments without their knowledge.
