Detecting an Iranian-made thermal marine mine found in the waters of the Red Sea

The Maritime Formation Force of the Fifth Military Region found a marine mine planted by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, near the island of Zurbat, the district of Al-Lahya, in Hodeidah Governorate.
A military source in the marine formation said that the mine is a high-explosive thermal mine, Iranian-made, and it is the first thermal marine mine to be found in contrast to the previous sea mines that were dealt with.
The source added that the naval forces of the Fifth Military Region dealt with and detonated the mine after securing the area and removing the fishermen from the vicinity of the area of destruction.
