A retreat of the army forces in Naham ... intensive bombing targeting the Houthis and reinforcements reaching Ma'rib

Government forces have retreated from a number of their positions in the Naham front, east of the capital, Sanaa, which is witnessing violent battles with the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.


Informed military sources said that today, Wednesday, the army forces retreated in the Al-Jarashb mountain range. Many of forces members were killed and wounded, and dozens of Houthis were killed and wounded.

According to the sources, the Houthi militia turned over the army, which had controlled at dawn on Tuesday the mountain range of Al-Jarashb and was able to recover two thirds of the sites that had controlled it.

Military sources said that the army forces targeted military reinforcements of the Houthi militia from Sana'a, and the sources added that the militia was storing weapons in Wadi Habab in Sarwah.

The sources said that the Arab coalition destroyed military vehicles belonging to the Houthi coup militia, west of Sarwah.

In the context, military sources confirmed this morning, Wednesday, that military reinforcements have arrived in Ma'rib from Saudi Arabia.


Also in Marib, a ballistic missile targeted the Central Security camp on Tuesday evening, killing one soldier and wounding three others.

The shelling came days after a double bombing by a ballistic missile and a drones targeting the reception camp in Marib, killing 116 soldiers and wounding more than 70 others.
