Journalist Mohammed Al-Khamiri revealed that the Ambassador of Yemen in Brussels, Mohamed Taha Mustafa, rented a house for 5 thousand euros per month, despite the presence of housing owned by the Yemeni government.

Al-Khamiri said, on his Facebook account, that Ambassador Mohamed Taha Mustafa, who is the brother of Nasr Taha Mustafa, former director of the office of the interim president Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, refused to reside in the building owned by the Yemeni government, and rented a house for more than 5 thousand euros per month.

He pointed out that Mustafa had retired 10 years ago, and his brother (Nasr) returned him to serve in the diplomatic service while he was director of Hadi's office.

According to al-Khamiri, the majority of Yemen's ambassadors are currently renting housing with this amount or so, even though they live in their personal homes, including Ambassador Muhammad Maram in Egypt who receives sixty thousand dollars annually in rent for his house.
