Violent night battles break out in “Batar”, north of Al-Dhale’

Violent clashes broke out, on the night of Tuesday / Wednesday, between the southern forces on one side, and the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in, Yemen, on the other hand, north of Al-Dhale’ governorate.

Field sources said that heavy battles are taking place in the “Battar” axis and extend to the vicinity of Al-Fakher area.

Now, confrontations between the two parties are taking place in the “Hura” area west of “Hajar”,   in which medium and heavy weapons are used.

 According to the sources, the battles of the night, between the southern forces and the Houthis, expanded to the Jabr Sabira front, the Beit Al-Sharji area, and Shaan of Al-Maa.

Earlier on Tuesday, a number of Houthi militia members were killed and others wounded, with a specific operation of the joint southern forces in the north of Al-Dhale’ governorate.

 A military source said that the southern forces carried out a qualitative operation against the Houthi militia, in Habeel Obaid, in the Battar Front, east of the Hashah Directorate, and resulted in the killing and wounding of a group of Houthi elements.

According to the source, the first battalion in al-Shahid al-Shujabi brigade targeted Houthi fighters, in addition to a military supply vehicle.

 It confirmed the death and injury of a number of Houthi militia members, and the destruction of a military kit, without mentioning a numerical statistic of the number of dead and wounded among the Houthis.
