Aden, Newsyemen, private:

Coronavirus made the Yemeni employee talk about salary and about the possibility of payments or not to face the pandemic that paralyzed the world.

This comes as a natural result after many governments have ensured that incentives continue to be paied and citizens are exempt from electricity and water bills.

But in the Yemeni case, the matter is going to the opposite of this, and everyone was surprised that the two governments did not move a muscle until the moment, as if the matter does not concern them at all, despite all warnings.

Many of those who broached the subject of salaries considered that this would have eased people's panic, and might help them cope with the virus by taking some measures and precautions.

Strangely enough, one of them says that the battles taking place in Al-Jawf and Marib are proofs that the two parties, and specifically the Houthis, are continuing the war indefinitely.

Another commented on the quarantine carried out by the Houthi coup militia in Saada and the city of Al Bayda, whether coming from outside the country or from the southern governorates is only a microcosm of the group's mindset.

Many citizens were also surprised by the militia’s interest in them through media materials without any real results on the ground to confront this pandemic.

While some underestimated the seriousness of the matter in Yemen, many warned against an imminent explosion of the catastrophe, including international bodies, based on the fragility of the health and economic situation and the absence of all measures and precautions.

Many followers are awaiting the results of the press conference to be held by the Minister of Health Al-Mutawakkil in the Sanaa government today, Sunday.

Where some fear that the militia will exploit this aspect in a specific framework that serves the political scene that the militia draws in achieving more of its goals.

It is worth noting that any disaster of this kind or of any other kind is not in the interest of the country and the citizen who has been suffering under the the militia’s rule for 5 years.

In addition, at least 700,000 employees and retirees have been deprived of their salaries for more than 3 years, with the exception of a small amount that is paid between separate periods.

UN reports and international and civil society organizations say that at least 20 million people fall below the poverty line in light of the continuing battles between the conflicting parties.

Many observers hold the Houthi militia responsible and others in the legitimacy accused of corruption and manipulation and sale of humanitarian aid.
