Informed sources said that, during the past few days, the Houthi militia stormed a number of the houses of the contributing physicians or the owners of hospitals and medical centers in Sana'a.

The sources pointed out that the Houthi militia attempted to pressure a number of consultant physicians in the field of ophthalmology, psychiatry, and general surgery owners and contributors to private hospitals and medical centers for the participation of senior Houthi leaders in investment projects.

It was added, that some doctors rejected Houthi pressure to impose partners on their investments from militia members, and as a result, the Houthis carried out a campaign of incursions into their homes and medical centers and threatened them with punitive measures on trumped-up charges, including "working with cells to serve the Arab coalition."

Sources said that the targeted doctors had acquiesced at gunpoint during the previous period to Houthi directives, which imposed on them the reception and conduct of surgeries for the militia members free of charge and without any symbolic costs.

It noted that there are procedures in place to determine proportions of the partnership that will be put at the disposal of the militia.

It stated that after the imposition of receiving cases of the wounded from the front lines, the militia imposed on the private medical centers to receive the Houthi leaders, their family members and relatives, and to carry out the necessary operations or checks for them without financial costs in exchange for that.
