Today, the tribesmen are making great sacrifices in defense of the remaining areas that the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, are trying to control in Marib and Al-Jawf, after the so-called National Army abandoned its responsibilities to defend it.

At the time that the Houthis began their escalation since the beginning of this year, the withdrawals of the army brigades belonging to the third, sixth and seventh military areas began from the imposition of Nehm east of Sanaa, and through the districts of Al-Ghail, Al-Hazm, Khub, and Al-Shaaf in Al-Jawf governorate, and finally, the Majzar and Ragwan in the Ma'rib governorate that the Houthis apply to asphyxiation and do not stand up to a dam  In front of its invasion only the people of the tribes of the province, especially after the fall of the "Al-Labanat" the largest camps between Al-Jawf and Marib.

The people of the tribes of Murad, Ubaidah, Jahem and Al-Jadaan stand in the face of the Houthi legions after the third military area abandoned its role, especially in the Serwah fronts in the western part of the governorate, the Labaanat Front and Raghwan in the north, the last of the defense belts that the militias are trying to storm into human lanes to enter the city of Marib.

One of the people of the Murad tribe says: We have provided about seven thousand martyrs and wounded people so far, so there is no single family in the tribe who has not provided a martyr or wounded from the best of its youth and we are still on the fronts fighting violent battles with the Houthi militia on four fronts open on the walls of the province in defense of our areas from Houthi militia and its sectarian project.

The matter is not very different in Al-Jawf Governorate, the Daham tribes stand alone against the Houthi militias in the eastern Al-Jawf regions, where the Marzaiq “Bani Nouf” tribes have fought violent battles in the desert areas of the Khub and Al-Shaaf district since the last third of March and they were able to repel several Houthi attacks towards Bir al-Marazeeq on the outskirts of the Sabreen Front.

In front of the continuation of the Houthi mobilization on the fronts of the two governorates in an unprecedented manner in an effort to bring them down, the legitimate government resorted to using the tribes of Yemen under the banner of "popular support for the national army" and using them as a blueberry card to ward off this resounding fall of an army that Yemenis call "imaginary", indicating the evaporation of tens of thousands from fighting fields and being satisfied with their names on the payroll.

On Sunday, a meeting chaired by the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Muhammad al-Maqdashi, and the Chief of the General Staff, the Commander of Joint Operations, the Governors of Marib, Sana'a, Rimeh, and agents of a number of governorates of the Republic, discussed a number of issues related to the tasks of the "Popular Support Authority for the National Army" in receiving and organizing the reception of tribal crowds to support the army.
