Al-Wali gives an urgent note on food stocks

The Ministry of Industry and Trade sent, on Monday, an urgent note to the President of the Chamber of Commerce, on the importance of advertising merchants to communicate with the Ministry, regarding the amount of consumables they have.
In the memo, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Salem Al-Wali stressed the necessity to notify merchants urgently and exceptionally to communicate with the ministry about the quantities of consumables “especially essential” available to them, in order to ensure the strategic stock in the provinces, the need to raise the mechanism they have and not to leave the stock randomly to the regions until the necessary measures are taken.
He pointed to the necessity to provide the Ministry of Industry with the required data about this process, and to arrange a meeting within two days.
This comes as a result of what the world is exposed to from the pandemic of Coronavirus and preventive precautions.
