Marib: Violent fighting continues and the army reaches the outskirts of Serwah market

Violent fighting continues in the Serwah District, west of Marib, amid remarkable progress by the army and tribes, and the loss of lives and equipment of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.


A military source said that the forces were able to recover sites lost during the past days and to liberate a number of important sites in the Sarwah front to the outskirts of the Serwah market.

According to Newsyemen, the forces managed to take control of Mount Dahwan and Atias in the facilitation of the Sarwah Front.

On the Al-Maymana front, the army forces managed to take control of the Al-Zubair site, which is one of the important sites and links the heart and the right of the front.



The army forces have also recovered sites that they lost during the past two days, and they control al-Muhtadi and al-Khattab hills and securing the area around Camp Kofel.

The source pointed out that the progress came in conjunction with other battles - still being fought by the army in the regions of Al-Mashjah and Hailan, west of Marib.

In the context, the Arab army and tribesmen supported by the Arab coalition aircraft targeted locations, assemblies, mechanisms and reinforcements of the Houthi militia in the Serwah area, killing and wounding dozens of militia members.
