The leadership of Al-Bayda Governorate announces its rejection of the Minister of Defense's actions aimed at tearing up the national ranks

l-Bayda Governorate leadership announced, on Tuesday, March 31, its rejection of "unacceptable" actions by Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Muhammad Ali al-Maqdashi, which aims to tear the national ranks and create obstacles to liberating the province.
In an official statement issued by the Information Office in Al-Bayda Governorate, the Al-Muqdashi team was accused of seeking to create a political, administrative, and military rift between the people of the province.
The statement referred to two meetings that the Minister of Defense held on March 24 and 29 with the Governors of Marib, Rimeh, and Sana'a, ignoring the invitation of the Governor of Al-Bayda, the head of the local council, Major General Nasser Al-Khader Abd Rabuh Al-Sawadi, and only satisfied the invitation of the provincial agents Sinan Jaraoun and Khaled Al-Awadi, despite Al-Maqdisi’s knowledge of the presence of Al-Sawadi in the city of Marib.
The statement said that this comes at a time when the Ministry of Defense seeks to receive and mobilize citizens to support the national army in the battle to restore the Yemeni state and the dignity of citizens, expressing regret that the Ministry of Defense ignored the leadership of Al Bayda Governorate on an important issue related to the restoration of the state in its war against the Houthis.
The statement assured the people of Al-Bayda that the leadership of the Governorate does not keep silent on these behaviors that want to separate our ranks and seek to sow division between us, adding, "We assure you that we have continued with you in the battle of liberation, whose spark started in December 2014 and which is still continuing today, and such irresponsible actions will not hinder us from anyone no matter what is his position ."
The Bayda Governorate statement called on the President, Vice President and Prime Minister to stop these behaviors and to stop any interference that would halt the liberation of Al Bayda Governorate. He also called on all honorable people from the province to continue to resist the Houthi coup, and to stand as one with the national army and security until the republic is restored.
